It is inspiration day here at Aliciabel Challenge Blog and
we are here with some new projects designed specially for you!
And today also I made a mini tutorial on how to decorate your projects with stitching.
But before, let me remind you that there is still time to join our monthly challenge,
Anything Goes with Aliciabel images.
So, first awesome project:
Elena using Button label
And my project using Faery Godmother
And now, I was asked by a friend to make a tutorial on how to stitch on paper.
So, I took some pictures and here they are, for you all.
So, here you can see my tag and a paper piercing tool.
I normally use it on some scrap soft cardboard, the type you use for packaging,
but there is thick foam sheets specifically designed for this purpose.
First, pierce holes onto the card in the place where you want the stitching to go.
If you don't have a piercing tool, you could just use a needle to do it.
And then, just stitch around with a needle and a thread of your choice.
And this is how the stitched tag looks like.
Once I started building the tag, I thought I could also stitch my sentiment in it.
So, I used a pencil to write it.
Then, I pricked along it with the piercing tool.
And I stitched it with a darker thread.
Hope you liked this and felt inspired.
Have a nice weekend.
Alicia, Aurora and the DT.
