June and Farewell

Hi there!

Today we have rather sad news for you.
Alicia personally has written a few words to let you know:

Hello everybody. 

The blog is having very little involvement and, although I am very sad, 
I've decided to close it, at least for a while. 

The store will remain open, and I'm planning
surprises and new ideas for September that you will love. 

It was a very beautiful and enriching experience and I want to thank all DT,
they are all great artists and have worked with enthusiasm to be your inspiration. 

Thank you very much to all. 

And especially thanks to Aurora who coordinated the team 
and has been responsible to write every Friday. 
A big kiss to Aurora. 

To all my followers, I wish you happy holidays. 

We'll continue to see you on Facebook and in the store. 

You know that I always answer the messages. 

Hugs and thanks for your support.

We are all a bit sad for this decision, but at the same time
we are happy that we got to share this experience with you.

Today, is our last post for now, but still we are happy because we have a wonderful GD today.

I'm a Spanish mathematician and crafty woman
that started working as a consultor in new technologies long time ago.
At this moment I work in our geological company with my husband.
I live in Santiago de Compostela, at the end of the Way of St. James,
and I dislike the always rainy weather, but I take advantage of it crafting and colouring
when my two sons give me an hour of relax for my own.
I always see the rain together with my copics.
 I love the snow and skiing.
Pyrenees specially, are my second home.

Challenge #17 - Anything Goes or Spring

Hi there!

It's the first Friday of the month and this means Challenge Day!

Our challenges are always Anything Goes but 

this month we created following the theme "Spring" 

and, of course, you are welcome to join us if you want.

This month we have the honour of having as guest designer 

Bettina Leikvoll using Swinging 

Hi I am Bettina, I am married and mother of two girls aged 6 and 7 1/2. I live in Stavanger, Norway. I love to craft and have been doing that seriously since 2010. I also love gardening, bake cakes, playing the piano, dance, sing and being with my littlest girls. I love watching movies too.

I love to craft cause it is my freezone and I love to create beautiful things. I create almost everything. I do mostly cards. I love making folds, love making boxes and bags too. I got an addiction of making tags as well. I also use dylusions spray and use frantage on some projects as well. Colouringwise I am one of the rare people mainly using promarkers ( and sometimes graph its).

And this are the projects that our DT has created for your inspiration.

Hello! My name is Ana Isabel, I am a vet in Madrid and I love animals.

I dedicate my free time to this passionate world of scrap.

It all started when I discovered Copic colouring. I loved it and got hooked.

Then I started telling stories with paper scraps, making cards, 3D projects and mixed media!!

Challenge 14. Anything Goes or Don't be a Square

Hi there!

Here we are back on our regular schedule after the holiday.

I hope you had really nice time and received lots of handcrafted cards and presents.

Before I continue with this post I have some sad news. 

Two of our regular designers Ang and Mary have had to step down the team 

for personal reasons and we want to take the chance to wish them best luck 

and tell them who much we are going to miss them.

And now it's time to present challenge #14 

with the theme Anything Goes with an Aliciabel image, 

or the option that the Design Team has used: Don't be a Square.

This month we have a guest designer whom may be already known by you. 

She has been both guest designer and frequently also featured in the winner's posts. 

She is Esther Blazquez from Las Cositas de Exter 

and she is not only a scrapbook and cardmaking monster, 

she is also really good at cartonage.
